Read the April 2006 issue.

UK focus.

All-colour publication.

Features interviews with musicians, tutorials, product reviews, and UK classifieds.

Comes with DVD (not CD) containing sample tracks supporting the tutorials. Tutorials feature what, seems to me, very specialised computer music softwares, but then my experience with computer music is limited to ditties with Apple iLife GarageBand.

In anycase, even though I wasn’t familiar with the featured software, the comprehensive step-by-step explanations & screens enabled me to pick up some rudimentaries (e.g. Sound mixing).

This magazine is to what “computer arts” is to digital art. Those into making or engineering music using computers might find this useful.

Computer-music wannabes like me can also pick up a thing or two.
